Sir Godiva

Augusta Circle Circus

Friday afternoon, Nanny, Pappadad, Juju, Mommy, Daddy and Thomas walked up the hill to the Augusta Circle Circus. The schoolyard was full of people, games, inflatables, and fun. They were nice enough to suspend the time limit on the toddler's bouncehouse, so Thomas jumped till he was red in the face.

We took a break and played some games and then back to the inflatables. Thomas and Daddy slid down the "Sinking Titanic" and then Thomas climbed in the NASCAR maze. It really was a complex maze of inflatable slides and obstacles and I finally had to send a teenager in after Thomas when we lost sight of him.

The playground was full of children chasing each other with cans of silly string and it didn't take long for Thomas to figure out what all the fun was about.

We finally managed to drag him away to dinner and more fun at Coronas.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUJU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUJU!

Silly Boy

So we're enjoying the beautiful weather, playing outside, gardening, watering flowers and Thomas starts playing in a puddle. He's stomping, splashing and hamming it up. He then puts his head down in the water lifts it up and then exclaims "Dwinking Water". He proceeds to repeatedly dunk his head in the water and then lick it off his upper lip as the muddy water drips down his face. Ewwww!

GREENVILLE DRIVE

We were definitely "All In" with the Greenville Drive home opener. Clemson Coach, Dabo Sweeney threw out the first pitch to start the baseball season. Although it was chilly and rained on and off, we lasted through three innings with the help of a foot long hot dog (he ate the whole thing!) and some cracker jacks.

Easter Afternoon

Sunday afternoon our neighbors invited us to join them for a wonderful Easter lunch and egg hunt. Thomas had a great time playing with all the big kids but we had to get him down for a nap before the egg hunt. After naptime, we decided it was warm enough to break out the sprinkler and take off the clothes!

Easter

The Easter Bunny came bringing toys, books and lots of candy!

It didn't take long for Thomas to catch on to the hunting of the eggs, although he never understood the concept of placing the eggs GENTLY in the basket. The egg hunt turned out to be a time trial where he found the eggs and chucked them in the basket en route to the next egg.

He liked eating the "Eggie Apples" and probably had too many because that evening he read a very long story while sitting on the potty!

Getting Ready for the Easter Bunny

Our little artist made some beautiful (and a few not so pretty) eggs in preparation for the arrival of the Easter Bunny. A few eggs got cracked and instead of turning the eggs in the dye, he splashed the dye over the eggs. Whatever works. Thank goodness for dark countertops
