Snow Day Part I

The first snow of 2010 brought about a quarter inch of snow and a half inch of ice. School was closed even though there was no snow left so I guess it was due to the black ice. There wasn't much snow to make snowballs/snowmen/forts, but the ice made for some great sledding. Thanks Juju for the new sled!

Party Weekend

In continuation of what has been weeks of presents and celebrations, Thomas and I spent this Saturday at two birthday parties.
Saturday morning we went to Mauldin to celebrate Avery's 3rd Birthday (she was born the day after Thomas!) Thomas had a great time playing with all Avery's toys. Then after eating pizza, cake and ice cream, we headed to Monkey Joe's which is an indoor bounce house extravganza! He played to the point of exhaustion, took a two minute nap in the car on the way to party #2.

The second party was for our next door neighboor, Grant. It was his fifth birthday and we joined our friends and neighbors at the bowling alley. Thomas was the youngest, but he had very good time with his first experience bowling. He even got a strike!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY THOMAS!

I cannot believe its been three years! We just finished the rush of Christmas and jumped right into Thomas's birthday. Juju was here to help celebrate and Thomas loved his Art Easel and Airplane from her.

He got to open some presents from Nanny and Pappa with them via videoconferencing!
