Rough Week

Davis had some jaundice, so when he wasn't eating he was supposed to be on the Bili-Bed. The Bili-Bed looked like a giant scanner with a fabric cover you would tuck him into. It didn't look too comfortable. Needless to say, Davis (and in turn the rest of us) didn't sleep much for about five days. We also had to go to the lab to have his blood drawn, repeatedly, so long story short...it was a rough week.

Cousins

Uncle Jack, Aunt Lizzie, Kinsey and Max came to visit this afternoon. Thomas was thrilled to play with his cousins and everybody got to meet Davis. Thanks Patrick family for driving up to see us.

Birthday Party

Today, Davis and I stayed home while Daddy and Thomas went to a birthday party for one of Thomas' classmates. The party was at a rec center where the kids got to try gymnastics and play on some inflatables. Thomas had a great time and the instructor pulled Paul aside and told him we should enroll Thomas in a gymnastics class because he had potential.

Announcing the arrival of the newest Pitman, Davis Folger, into this world this evening at 6:28 pm. A beautiful, bright-eyed and alert little guy, Davis weighed in at 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. Mommy, Daddy, and especially big brother Thomas are all doing wonderful and are thrilled!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAX!

Thomas made a special trip to Georgia to spend some time with his cousins to celebrate Max's third birthday. Max had a train themed birthday party with a train birthday cake, a model train, a bouncehouse and even a mini train that rode the kids around the neighborhood. The kids played themselves silly at the party.

Sunday, the party raged on as Thomas joined Max and Kinsey at Sunday School and then lunch at Chuck E. Cheese. Needless to say, we received a very tired fellow on Sunday evening.

Siblings Class

In preparation for the great arrival, we enrolled Thomas in a Siblings Class at Greenville Hospital. He was the youngest in the class but still learned alot about what to expect when Davis arrives. We got a tour of the nursery, watched a silly movie, practiced with dolls and best of all had cookies and juice.

Thomas is going to be a GREAT BIG BROTHER!
