Pitmans - North meets South

The heat gave us a good excuse to stay inside and catch-up and let the little ones play. Sammy is adorable and is definitely on the go. Davis and Thomas were both enamored with Roy, Julie and particularly Samuel. We did venture out to make a fun trip to the zoo and then pizza at Barley's.

Pitmans!

Roy, Julie and Cousin Samuel came to visit. They got in this afternoon and after everyone took a nap we went downtown for dinner at Chicora Alley followed by a walk in Falls Park and gelato at Lazy Goat. Then it was time for a liitle catching up and getting to know our nephew/cousin Sam!

Keowee Springs

In the heat of the battle, or in this case the battle of the heat, we spent the afternoon at the waterpark cooling of in the fountain and pool. Thomas practiced his apple cheeks and putting his face in the water. He even tackled the slide by himself. It was then off to dinner with Nanny, Pappa, Mr. Jim and Mrs. Lois.

Hot, Hot, Hot!

The truck was parked in the parking deck, but the thermometer read 113 degrees! Too hot to be outside so we took the boys to the Children's Museum. We had fun driving racecars, flying airplanes, climbing to the sky, milking cows, playing music and much more.

Davis Update

Davis had his four month checkup today. As usual he was quite a showoff, grinning, laughing, rolling and standing. Dr. Clayton said start baby proofing. He weighed in at 15 lbs. 11 oz. (65.55%) and was 25 1/4 inches tall (61.92%) with a head circumference of 41 1/2 cm (28.65%). He got three shots but was quite a trooper. Oh yeah, we felt his first tooth coming through last night!

Trinity Luau

Trinity hosted a Luau tonight, complete with pork, pineapple and fried rice. The kids did the hula, made music sticks out of bamboo, went fishing and then sat quietly for a reading of "Hula Lullaby".

A Visit to Catherine's

This afternoon, we went to our friends' house for a dip and dinner. We shared the pool with Duke and Logan and then Catherine and David fixed us a SPECTACULAR dinner of Seabass with vegetables and a delicious birthday pie! Thanks guys!

We Love Our Zoo

Paul and I had a date night Friday and went to the zoo for a fun night of music, food and beer sampling.

The next morning we returned with Juju and the boys for some animals and playtime.

Davis Update

Compared to Thomas, Davis is considerably more physically active. He can't quite touch the bottom of the saucer, but put some sheets under his feet and it's time to play! As you can see, he likes to stand, too! Next step, running!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

Chucktown

For the holiday weekend we headed to Charleston for a little beach, pool, fishing, eating and alot of fun. No fishing pictures but the guys had fun. The ladies and kiddos had fun in the sun and water.
