Time to Nail Things Down!

It's time to nail things down. He can scoot on his belly and rock on his knees. Any day now...

Speaking of "The Chunk", we took Davis to the doctor for his six month visit. He weighed in at a hefty 18 lbs. 9 oz. which put him in the 63rd percentile (Thomas was 18lbs. 11 oz. at 1 year!). He was 27.75 inches which put him in the 84th percentile for height.

The Big Dig 2010

This Saturday, we went out to Verdae where we sweated in the dust at our second trip to the Big Dig. I overheard so many people talking about "that cute little boy that is having the most wonderful time!" Thomas, as expected, was all grins and dimples as he rode the bucket truck, two excavators and giant dump truck.

Davis the Dolphin

Turn up your volume to hear "Davis the Dolphin". He excels at communicating with whales, but apparently is camera shy. He squeals all the time but it has been a challenge to capture it on video.

A Day at Lake

Today we loaded up the boys and headed to the mountains for a last summer splash. We played in the lake, relaxed and spent some great time with family. Sarah and Marvin brought Granny for a visit and we enjoyed seeing everyone.

Last Home Stand

This weekend was the last of the home games for the Greenville Drive, so we snatched up some tickets and kept our fingers crossed that I wouldn't get called. Luckily the pager stayed quiet so we enjoyed a fun evening at the ballpark. Thomas got to heckle the players, romp on the playground and make a mess with some rainbow ice cream. We didn't get to stay for fireworks so Thomas got to make his own at home!

Labor Day Weekend

I was on call this holiday weekend but that didn't stop us from having an AWESOME weekend in Greenville. The weather was amazing so when we weren't watching football (Go Dawgs! Go Tigers!) we were enjoying our downtown. After a yummy sushi dinner we walked Main Street and did a little shopping at Mast. On our way up, we passed a crowd gathering at the Piazza Bergamo watching about 20 people playing Tribal Music. They had spare percussions for anyone to join in an Thomas was thrilled to participate.

UGA KICKOFF PARTY!

Fall is officially here as it is time for COLLEGE FOOTBALL! To kickoff this glorious time of year, we went with the Conns to the Farr's house for a UGA Kickoff Party. They had Chik-fil-A for the kids and Blockhouse BBQ and beer for the adults. Thomas and Stella had a blast playing with all the other kids and we got to meet Vince Dooley.

GO DAWGS!
